Gordon J. Christie - Senior Partner

Born, bred and educated in Huntly, Gordon knows the town and its surroundings well and returned to Huntly in 1995 after completing his education at Aberdeen University, his traineeship with a well respected Aberdeen Legal Firm and gaining experience with a Local Authority in Stonehaven.

Presently Gordon deals with conveyancing, estate agency, wills, powers of attorney and executries, Alexander Scott's Hospital, Huntly Fishings and general chamber work. Gordon is married with a son and lives in Huntly. His interests include travel, photography, golf and walking.

Fergus J. Dow - Partner

Fergus grew up working on his family's farms at Insch and Colpy, and was schooled at Inverurie Academy, before graduating in Law from Dundee University.  Having completed his traineeship with Aberdeenshire Council, he lived and worked in Dumfries for 5 years.  He retruned to Aberdeenshire in 2003, commuting and working for prominent Aberdeen firms, before taking up his post with Murdoch, McMath & Mitchell in March 2020, where he deal with conveyancing including sales, purchases, and complex conveyancing transactions of which he has a great deal of experience.

Fergus lives in Insch and has 2 children who are both in further education.  In his spare time he plays squash and badminton, has the occasional hack around "the golf course", and enjoys music and riding his motorcycle.

Diane M.M Christie - Consultant

Diane was born and educated in Aberdeen and gained her LL.B.Degree from Aberdeen University. Following completion of her traineeship, she continued to practice in Aberdeen for 10 years before joining Murdoch McMath and Mitchell in 2001.Diane deals with a substantial part of the Firm's conveyancing, wills, powers of attorney, executries and partnership work.

Married to Gordon, she currently combines legal work with her interests which include travel, amateur dramatics, walking, choir and aerobics.
